The Parka is my military green thing of gold this autumn season. It is one of the most versatile pieces anyone can have in their wardrobe because of how it plays well with a variety of looks. I actually can’t think of one type of dressing that an Olive Parka can’t complement…formal or casual. Just because it looks so military doesn’t mean you have to give it that singular interpretation.
Today, I’m dressed for a casual day out. I have decided to layer my H&M Parka with a Gingham shirt and paired with denim shorts and lace up Peep-toe Booties, it doesn’t get any comfier. Parkas are so handy for layering because they are made to have extra room for this. You know I love any excuse to experiment looks and layering does that for me. It’s not quite the time for heavy layering so today I’m keeping it pretty light.
I need a moment to gush about my Primark booties. They are currently one of the most comfortable heely shoes in my wardrobe. I could walk to Africa and back in these babies without feeling a pinch… so so good I tell you! Don’t even get me started on how it transforms any ordinary look to extra cool and what’s more, they cost just £16 from Primark… imagine that! (Bargain!!!). I always say dressing up doesn’t have to cost you the world, big name tags don’t define style.
I hope I have inspired one or some of you today. Thanks a lot for stopping by. Love Ada. X
