Lines and Dots

You know how they always say ‘if you are not sure wear black’?…well I think they need to add ‘and white’ to it. Black and white has always been and will always be my favourite fashion colour go-to. It’s clear to see why they are the primary colours in the colour palette. They can be worn in any season and at any volume, in other words, you can never be too black and white at any time of the year… I mean they were not called the primary colours for nothing, right?

Some times when you try to go all the way with a particular colour or a mixture of colour or prints you would have to be strategic with it or end up getting people pass comments like ‘too much pink’ or ‘too much red’ or ‘you look awful summery for spring’  or  ‘sorry, there’s just too much going on’ That just doesn’t happen with these sisters. You could have them from head to toe and still have room for more drama and still not be in any one’s face.

Let’s see how my black and white thesis works, shall we? See how I have it on in both lines and dots and yet have managed to not look like I am going for a circus show plus I still had room to accessorise with a bold cobalt blue bag and sunglasses for a pop of colour… Snap! that’s what I mean. In another news have I mentioned that socks are now the ‘it’ accessories? There you go, I’ve said it, so don’t stay in the dark, go get them in every shade you can work and rock away!

Remember, don’t be afraid to max-out on any black and white item you have in your wardrobe cause it’s sure money well spent so spend them!… I mean your black and whites not all your money, lol.  X

A little sun-ray halo hovering over me… : )
