It’s good to be back again! I hope your week is going well so far. The weather has been fair here in Scotland for days now, giving me the courage to dig out my summer sandals that has been buried under the pile for almost a year. This is the first time since August that I’ve done a shoot in sandals without ending up with frozen toes that bite for hours… it just means better days are ahead and I cannot wait to make the most of it!
Even though the weather is beginning to smile at us, it is still the season for warm and subtle colours. We are only beginning to shed the layers bit by bit. Here I have gone for a chilled out look and have thrown on a hat to tune up the outfit a notch. As we all know, a Fedora hat is always a good idea when you want to keep warm whilst looking stylish. You also can never go wrong with ‘the’ camel colour. It is a colour that has had a long-standing presence in women’s fashion. It is far warmer than cream and beige but lighter and softer than brown tones. What also makes its such an attractive colour is how easy it is to wear as it blends well with almost every skin tone and just about any colour under the sun.
Get a head start on your spring wardrobe now, allow your thick everything start moving to the bottom of the pile while you move up all the lighter/brighter colours and fabrics… Let the transition to spring begin!
Thanks for stopping by. X
