Work wear lookbook

Welcome back! Workwear makes the most part of our weekly outfits and I realised I have never done a post on how to dress up for work (Silly me!) so, I thought what better time to start than mid-January when we are all now settling back into the reality of a 9-5 life…for most of us anyway. Our clothes speak volumes about who we are, and they contribute to other people’s perception of our professionalism. Since we spend most of our time at work I have decided that every now and again I will try to do posts on edgier ways to freshen up our workwear style.

I start with this chilled and laid back ‘boyish’ outfit. It deosn’t get comfier than Peg legs, oversized  coats and  pointy flats.  Team these up with a cute satchel or purse, nothing too bulky, and you are well on your way to having a ‘styletastic’ day at work. The edge to this outfit is the print-tee. Even though the tee-shirt screams casual, you would have managed to diffuse the casual effect  with the gorgeous formal pen leg pants and pointy flats. Gone are the days when you have to be suited up from head to toe to convince your colleagues that you have what it takes to keep up with the office style stakes. Remember to always maintain a balance between class and style  afterall we are there for our skills and not our clothes.

Thanks for stopping by… X
